Fully funded 15 PhD scholarships by Inspire4Nature project
Still time to apply to our 15 PhD positions at the interface between the science and the policy of international biodiversity conservation!
Each PhD project is a collaboration between an academic institution (a research centre or university, where the student will be based) and at least one leading international biodiversity conservation organisation (International Union for Conservation of Nature, BirdLife International, UNEP-World Conservation Monitoring Centre, Zoological Society of London), where students will spend 6-10 months in secondment).
Inspire4Nature is more than a collection of 15 great PhDs! It’s a broader training programme that will give you hands-on experience in major conservation tools (IUCN Red List, Key Biodiversity Areas) as well as practice in communicating about science and biodiversity to a diverse audience.
Positions are open to early-stage researchers (< 4 years research experience) undertaking trans-national mobility: see eligibility details in this page. Applicants can apply to any positions they are eligible for.
